Visit to Bramston Beach Lodge no 2101

On Thursday 10th June, 5 of our Shannon Court resident Masons made a 4th annual visit to the Bramston Beach Lodge 2101 in Godalming.

They were treated to a fabulous 125th celebration of BB2101's Consecration- (Friday 05th June 1885)-, with a sublime Second degree passing ceremony, expertly delivered.

The meeting was blessed with the attendance of the PGM RW.Bro Eric Stuart-Bamford, his Deputy the VW.Bro Mike Yalden, Assistant PGM's W.Bros Anthony Machin & Roy Hawker, plus some 80 other well know Masons.

As a further bonus, the retiring FOSC Chairman- WBro Graham Walder- presented the 18th FOSC Grand Patrons Certificate to BB2101 with his usual  aplomb.

As allways our Shannon Court Masons were well looked after by all present- with Jackie & Linda chauferring & fussing over them with their unique brand of care and sensitive attention.

Again a brilliant evening of Masonic cameradrerie- roll on next year !!!.

I would like to extend a special thank you to all those Lodges who welcome residents to their Lodge meetings, we do like to keep the programme fresh and variable so any Lodge wishing to offer an invitation will be very welcome. The one stipulation is that we do try and keep the meetings within a 20 mile radius of the home to cut down travelling time. Gerald Phillips, Mike Falkner or myself can be contacted with regards to arrangements."
